Last weekend was IMATS toronto
, and managed to buy some new vegan makeup.Obsessive Compulsive
Lip tars are awesome. High pigments, blend together easily to form new shade, look smooth on, and stay on longer than glosses. My biggest con with them is how they stain everything that comes in contact quite strongly. And lip liner is a must.http://www.occmakeup.com/lips.html
The new Obsessive Compulsive brushes are super soft. Much softer than Urban Decay vintage ones. Only tried the angled shading brush, and so far prefer UD's vintage blender brush. May take time to get used to them.
Haven't tried yet the OCC eyeshadow and glitters I bought.
Also Royal & Langnickel launched a newer brush line, Silk, where some of them are synthetic.
I started using the eyeshadow one and its decent. A bit bigger than UD old eyeshadow brush.
The price on these brushes is decent too; $5-$15/brush. They also seem to have brush shape variety like a pointed liner and fans.
The website is confusing, at the show they were separated from natural and synthetic. To make it a bit more confusing, some brushes Taklon on back.
A search for synthetic and taklon will bring up the brushes. http://www.beautyusa.royalbrush.com/
